Q - What do we do?
A - Our goal is to provide students and landlords with all of the information needed for off-campus living. From finding the best house to contact information for local utility companies to listing popular off-campus activities, we have it all.
Q - Why choose us to help you find that perfect off-campus house or apartment?
A - We know the Marist College and Poughkeepsie area better than anyone. We have been doing this for over 10 years. We personally know many of the landlords and would only recommend a landlord who is professional, responsible, and has experience with student rentals. We have a proven track record with both students and parents, as well Marist College administration.
Q - How are rent amounts quoted?
A - Rent is per bedroom.
Q - Are all leases the same?
A - No, landlords are free to use their own lease. However, there are many standard terms. We have our own addendum that outlines and clarifies the most important terms, such as: who pays for specific utilities, who is responsible for landscaping and snow removal, security deposits, pets, etc. We provide our own custom addendum and checklist for students to make the process as easy as possible. |
